I note in this guide Create and use modern pages on a SharePoint site - Microsoft Support that the "The immersive reader feature is not available on the home page"

Is there a workaround for this ?.

Aware users could access this from Edge itself however it seems a bit clunky to have it on sub pages but not on on the home page.
