Access: how do I make the Report Header to appear after the Page Header on the first page?

Hi,

I created a simple database with some data and a report. In Print Preview, the Report Header appears before the Page Header on the first page. I want the opposite (Page Header, then Report Header). After all, the Report Footer appears before the Page Footer on the last page.

Thank you

Create a top level grouping on a constant and move your report header controls to the new header section. Make sure the new section does not repeat.

The order of the bands is not changeable. The purpose of the Report Header is to describe the report and it is designed to only show on the first page. It generally does not include much, if any, data.

The Page Header shows at the top of every page and generally includes column headings.

The Page Footer is generally used for the Page Numbering so it needs to appear at the bottom of each page.

The Report Footer is generally used for summaries of the data in the report.

While you can't change the order of the bands, you can use Grouping to replace those headers and provide more control.
