Hi!,

Some time ago I shared one MS 365 Family subscription with a family member, and it was listed under the "Other People" group. Now I'm adding a new family member, but the only option I have now is to add it to the "Family Group". I tried sharing with a link and email, both with the same results. I did some research and found that you can share a subscription inside or outside the family group.

Who can I share my Microsoft 365 Family subscription with?

You can share your subscription benefits with up to five other people, (total of 6 people using your subscription). These people can be inside or outside of your family group, and each person can install Office on all their devices and be signed in to Office on five devices at the same time. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/learn-more-about-sharing-your-microsoft-365-family-subscription-155c850a-65b6-4a1a-9b28-b84e16b07bfc

Does any knows how to share a MS 365 Family subscription outside the family circle?

    They didn't remove the feature!

    Go to this address: family.microsoft.com

and remove the person from the family group. NOW, they will show up as "other".

The soft of put all of it under family safety automatically. But you can then remove people from the family at the above link. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/family-safety

No. This doesn’t work. That just removes them from the share altogether

    Hello Raymond,

And thanks for your response. In my original post, you'll see a link with information about sharing a MS 365 Family subscription. You'll see it mentions that's possible to share outside the family circle. And a few years ago I did that with a family member. But now I cannot find that option. In the invitation or with the link, it always ask the user to be part of a family circle.

    Hello Danny V,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am a Microsoft user just like you, I hope you are doing well?

A Family group is a set of individuals connected through the Microsoft Family Safety app on their Windows, Xbox, or mobile devices.

It appears this member is part of the same Family group as there is no option to share inside or outside Family group when inviting people to the Family subscription.

You will need to add the member you wish to share your subscription with to your Family group to share inside Family group.

Add member to Family group from family.microsoft.com.

Please let me know if you need more assistance.
