Hello community,

I am trying to obtain the XLOOKUP function to install as an add-in for version 2016. I've looked into this online, have followed instructions, and I have not had success. I have read the comments of others who have tried the same thing and they claim to have been successful. I am not sure I am getting the right file. I could use some assistance with this. Thank you. BH

You cannot "download" XLOOKUP and other new functions in Excel 2016. They are only available in Excel in Microsoft 365 and Office 201 (and in the online version of Excel).

You can find custom XLOOKUP-like functions on the internet, but they cannot emulate XLOOKUP 100%, since the latest versions of Excel support dynamic arrays; older versions don't.
