i have an unauthorized transaction on my card of 105 dollars for "microsoft 36" but i can't tell if it came from my account (still unauthorized) or if someone used my card. is there a phone number for support i can call? i can't dispute it through my bank until it processes and it put my balance in the negatives. i would love to be able to get it taken care of through microsoft.

    Hello Jamie,

    Greetings for the day!

I'm sorry the charges has been deducted without your knowledge. I'm glad to provide you information on this.

Could you please verify if you have any ongoing subscription? If you have any ongoing subscription, you would have charged for renewal.

Step 1: Sign in to Office with the right account If Office asks you to sign in, enter the account you used to buy Office. You'll see "We couldn't find any Office products" if you use the wrong address. https://support.microsoft.com/office/0d23d3c0-c19c-4b2f-9845-5344fedc4380#bkmk_signin

Step 2: Check your subscription status If your subscription has expired, you'll see "We couldn't find any Office products." Renew your subscription to use Microsoft 365. https://support.microsoft.com/office/0d23d3c0-c19c-4b2f-9845-5344fedc4380#bkmk_checksubscription

If you find any subscription, you can cancel the option and request for the refund.

If you cancel within 30 days of signing up for the subscription, your refund should arrive within three to five days. It can take a while to refund an active Office 365 subscription. You can expect Microsoft to return your funds around six to eight weeks after you've submitted your request.

Please note you will have a month of free subscription, if you try to use Office 365 first time. And later you will be charged $99.99 annually. Instructions here https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/try

If it's any other subscription, please follow below details,

    1. Go to Services & subscriptions and sign in with the Microsoft account you used to purchase your subscription. https://account.microsoft.com/services/?ref=SMC-Cancel
    2. Find your subscription and select Manage.
    3. On the next page, select Cancel (or it might say Upgrade or Cancel, depending on your subscription type).
    4. Scroll through and follow the instructions on the page to proceed with cancellation

In few regions, if you cancel your subscription, and depending on the subscription length you may be entitled to a prorated refund. https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/38c81df4-10c1-f3eb-8d2f-b04f980c435f

Stop repeating this information, people are asking about these fraudulent changes under Microsoft 36 NOT Microsoft 365. My daughter is getting the complete run-a-round, she has never had a Microsoft account, the bank won't help because they say she has to sort it with Microsoft and yet no one at Microsoft is helping. I am seeing all these complaints going back years in this thread, it's time for someone to investigate where these charges are coming from and who is getting all this money from people around the world.

Hello, I'm Filisha James. On 10.26.23, They charged me $76.46 on my credit card for microsoft*microsoft 36 MSBILLL.INFO WA. I paid for a recurring annual charge on 8.10.23 in the amount of 109.74 with tax included. I'm not sure why my Master card ending with 9386 was charged again. Please return the money to my card.

I'm dealing with the same thing and keep getting recurring charges. The website says I don't have a subscription nor does it have financial history of the months it as been charging me! However my credit card is billed for months. This is not okay! Buyer beware!
