Hi,

I want to add a border that is set to Box, Single Style, Colour - Blue Accent 1 Darker 25% with a width of 2.25 pt to Multiple images. Can this be done without having to manually change each image? I have a minimum of 20 images to edit in one document.

Thanks 😊

    Instead of using the Format Painter, I would suggest using the built-in shortcut keys for Copy Format (Ctrl+Shift+C) and Paste Format (Ctrl+Shift+V). These have the advantage that once the format is copied to the Clipboard, it can be pasted indefinitely, even when there are intervening actions, until it is replaced by another format. But if you have very many images to do, a macro might still be more effective.

    Dear Donna,

    Good day! Thank you for posting your query in our community.

    Based on your description, you want to add borders to multiple images in Word.

    One method is using the Format Painter function in Word:

    1. You can first add border to a picture first, and select it;
    2. Click Home > Clipboard > Format Painter;
    3. Move the changed mouse pointer to the target image;
    4. Click on the second image and the formatting will be applied.

    Another method is creating a VBA macro in Word, you can refer to these two threads:
