Does Bookings stop customers from cancelling appointments within 24 hours of the appointment?

I am testing Bookings and I made an appointment for Friday and one for Monday. When I click the "Reschedule" button for my Friday appointment (the soonest appointment), I do not see a cancel button. But when I click the "Reschedule" button for my Monday appointment, I do see a "Cancel Booking" button.

I want students /customers to cancel at anytime. How can I fix that?

Thanks,

Darlene

Hello Daguil18,

I’m Gunasekar and I will be happy to help you with your question, I am a Microsoft consumer like you.

You can specify the allowed lead and cancellation times for appointments, per the Microsoft Bookings FAQ page. This implies that you can let clients change or cancel appointments whenever they choose.

The "Cancel Booking" button might not be present for your Friday appointment because it is too close to time. The booking page options allow you to evaluate the lead and cancellation times that are suitable for your company.

You could notice different alternatives when trying to postpone or cancel the Friday appointment and the Monday appointment because the cancellation policies are different for each. You might want to validate the cancellation policy settings with the account owner or administrator if you are not the Bookings account's administrator.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I’ll be glad to assist you further.

Best regards Gunasekar N

Oh, I see it now. I wish the lead times and cancellation times were separate though.

    Thank you for your help!
