You delete a page, as Mia has suggested, by deleting its content. Word deals in letters, words, and paragraphs; it has no concept of a page. See https://web.archive.org/web/20150629125555/http://daiya.mvps.org/wordpages.htm

    Dear User,

Good day!! Thanks for posting your concern in this Microsoft Community.

Per the description shared, I would like to summarize your requirement i.e., you want to delete a specific page in the Word document and have tried methods from Word help with no success.

If my understanding is correct, I have tried deleting a specific page in a Word document that contains 11 pages, when I follow the below steps I could delete the page successfully and the number of pages are changed to 10.

    Steps I have followed:

    1. Open the Word document> Navigate to the page I want to delete.
    2. Select the text at the beginning of the page and drag the cursor to the end of the page. (This will select the whole data on the page)
    3. Now click on the Delete button.

If you have already tried the above steps with no success, then I believe some elements on the page are not letting the page to delete. In this situation, I would like to know whether you are able to share the problematic Word document and page number to be deleted with us? It will help us to test at our end and share the result with you.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Mia | Microsoft Moderator

That's what I said: it's in the Word:mac section of wordmvp.com. I didn't look for it at the MVP site because all I had was the original URL, which I just plugged into the Web Archive.

I really like and support the web archive. However, this page is still maintained on the MVP website.

Thanks--I had to go looking for it, but I will update my cheat sheet. For some reason it's in the Word:mac section.
