Is it possible to add a font to the web version of excel so that everyone using the shared file doesn't have to download the font to their local computer?

Hi. I'm trying to add a barcode font to the inventory excel template my company uses. We access this template through OneDrive so that multiple people can work on the file. I'm trying to figure out a way to add the barcode font to the shared file so that anyone who open the file can view and use the barcodes. Currently, if the staff member hasn't downloaded the font to their local computer, then they will not be able to view or use the barcodes. The font file type is .ttf which i've found is not compatible with the online version of excel. I've converted the file to .otf but the same issue persists.

    Hi Dakota,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Regarding your query, no, currently, it is not available to add custom fonts to the Excel web app. All users will need to install the custom font on their sides. I recommend you post a suggestion in our Microsoft Feedback Portal where other members also post their suggestions here. It's the platform for us to hear your voice and improve our product. Sorry for the inconvenience that happened to you.

    Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,
