If the image should appear at the top of the very first page, only, put it in the First Page Header.

    Hello

I’m Adeyemi and I’d be happy to help you with your question.

Locking images and text in a Word document can be achieved in several ways. Here are some methods you can try:

    1. Using the Restrict Editing Feature on Microsoft Word:
      • Launch Microsoft Word on your computer.
      • On the Ribbon tab, select Insert.
      • Select Pictures and choose to Insert Picture From your PC, online, or stock images.
      • Once your Picture is in the document, click on the Review tab.
      • Select Protect and then Restrict Editing. This launches a side panel on the document.
      • From the side panel, tick either or all of the following boxes: Formatting restrictions to limit format style changes to the document. Editing restrictions to allow or disallow certain edit types on the document.
      • Select Yes, Start Enforcing Protection at the base of the menu to launch a dialog box.
      • On the dialog box, provide a password for the document and select OK to save your changes
    2. Using the Watermark Feature on Microsoft Word
      • Launch Microsoft Word on your computer.
      • Select Design on the Ribbon.
      • Select Watermark from the options available.
      • Select Custom Watermark.
      • Select Picture Watermark in the next dialog box then click on Select Picture.
      • From the new pop-up, select Insert Picture from your preferred source (File, Bing or OneDrive).
      • Select OK to save changes and the image should reflect as a locked background in your document
    3. Using the Position Anchor Tool on Microsoft Word
      • Launch Microsoft Word on your computer.
      • On the Ribbon tab, select Insert.
      • Select Pictures and choose to Insert Picture From your PC, online or stock images.
      • Once your Picture is in the document, right-click on it to reveal a menu.
      • Select Wrap Text and choose any of the text wrapping styles except In Line with Text which is the default setting of all inserted images

    1. Fix Position on Page With the picture selected, click the Layout Options icon. Near the bottom of the list, click Fix Position on Page. This option doesn’t completely lock the image in place, but it does keep it from moving as you further modify the Word document https://www.techrepublic.com/article/microsoft-word-prevent-images-from-moving/ Note: This is a non-Microsoft website.
