Here’s one way to do it:

Open a new blank Excel workbook. Click on the “Data” tab in the ribbon, then click on “Get Data” in the “Get & Transform Data” section. Select “From File” and then “From Workbook”. Browse to the location of one of the individual Excel files you want to combine and select it. In the “Navigator” window that appears, select the sheet you want to import and click on “Load”. The data from the selected sheet will be imported into a new sheet in your master workbook. Repeat steps 2-6 for each of the individual Excel files you want to combine.

Thanks so much. What we have are about 20 individual files saved as individual excel files. What we want to do is open a new spreadsheet and take all of those files and make them individual tabs at the bottom of one master spreadsheet.

    Hi Joe

I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Yes, you can consolidate data from multiple sheets into one master sheet in Excel. There are several ways to do this, depending on the structure of your data and the desired result.

One way is to use the built-in Consolidate feature in Excel. This feature allows you to summarize data from multiple sheets into one sheet using a variety of summary functions such as Sum, Count, Average, Max, and Min.

I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.

    Best Regards,

    AnnaThomas
