Activate MS Office 2013 on New PC

Hello,

After using my Activation Key on the New PC I got this Message:

So I booted up my previous PC and Uninstalled Office from that however that has made no difference and I am still getting the above Message on the New PC.

It says I can select Activate by Phone to get around this problem but here's what happens when I select that option!

From what I understand about how this works, I should be able to use my Office 2013 product that I bought on any PC so long as I don't exceed the maximum number of simultaneous activations (which I should be below now after uninstalling it on old PC).

How can I successfully activate it on the new PC?

Hello Joseph! I'm Ivan and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

To resolve this issue, reinstall Office from the Office website or from another media. To download and reinstall Office from the Office website, go to the following Microsoft website: https://www.office.com/getoffice

    Best,

    Ivan

Thanks! Do I need to uninstall office first? Because I followed that Link, put in my Product Key, it was accepted and it gave me the download. I then ran the downloaded Setup.exe.

Everything finished successfully but as soon as I opened any Office App I got asked to put my Product Key in again and got the messages in my original post again :(

I found another thread that helped! Use this website to find the phone number you are supposed to call for phone activation. Follow the automated prompts to allow them to send you a text message. Go to the link in the text and enter your codes. It worked for me!

Hi Joseph, sorry my bad not looking at the images you posted. You have Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013, which is a volume based licence provided normally through HUP (Home Use Program) by employers for use by their employees or by Collages/Universities or schools. They are not legitimately on sale on the internet. These versions do not have an Office Account, that is, they cannot be reinstalled from Services & Subscriptions. They can only be reinstalled using the Product Key. These versions are not legitimate if purchased at a knock down price on the internet. They may work for a long time or a short time as Microsoft servers cannot easily detect whether they are legitimate or not. But eventually they will disable them. This doe not mean this has happened to you. Try running the uninstall tool to completely uninstall all remnants of Office: Uninstall Office from a PC - Microsoft Support See Option 2. When the tool has finished you must restart your computer to complete the process (NOT shutdown). Try installing using Product Key again.

Thank you, unfortunately the issue is indeed persisting. Here's how it currently stands:

So I uninstalled office completely from this PC then I followed the link and enter my Product Key and get this Screen:
    Image

I download the Setup.exe and run it and then it asks for my Product Key again but this time I get this message:
    Image

I can't press the "Continue" here but the installation does complete successfully and I can open office apps but at that point we're back to square one with the original message appearing when trying to activate.

Although according to my list of installed programs I have Office Professional Installed (not plus) but the message I get when trying to activate references Plus (I don't know if this important or a red herring):
    Image

I do have an original Setup.exe that I got when I first purchased this product and that one installs Plus but runs into the same issue when trying to activate.
