Sending a copy of a word document from word

When I click on File>share, my only option is to share the file (allowing others to edit/review etc.). I used to have the option also to send a copy (as word or pdf) - how do i get this option back?

    Depends on which version of Office (Word) have. I have Word 2021>Top right hand side>click on Share>Share>This opens the below choices

    Which options do you see if you select File > Share > Email?

    Assuming you're using a compatible copy of Outlook, you should be able to add the Email (FileSendAsAttachment) button to your QAT and use that.

    You'll have to open the workbook in the desktop version of Excel. It won't work in Excel Online (in the browser)

    Oddly sometimes I get that box (particularly if the doc isn't already on one drive).

    If, however, the doc is already on one drive, the box I get says:

    Share "[file name]"

    then a box with a "person icon" in the left (it's somewhere to type an email address) and a pen with pull down arrow on the right. The pull down is "can edit, can view, can review".

    then a box for "Add a message"

    and then finally two buttons for "copy link" and "send"
