A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Hello Yugalgarg, my name Jeremy, thank you for reaching out today.
Yes, there are several tools available that can help you compare two Excel workbooks and identify differences in cell values, formulas, and other elements however, I wont be able to recommend third party software that is not integrated and supported by Microsoft.
Here are a couple supported options:
- If you are using Microsoft Excel, it has a built-in "Compare Files" feature that allows you to compare two workbooks.
To use this feature, go to the "View" tab, click on "View Side by Side," and then click "Compare Files."
Excel will guide you through the process of comparing the two workbooks and highlight the differences.
- If you have Microsoft Office Professional Plus or Office 365 ProPlus, you might have access to the Spreadsheet Compare tool.
It is specifically designed to compare Excel workbooks and can identify differences in cells, formulas, and more.
Be sure to always make a backup of your Excel files when experimenting with third party programs.
Once you get the comparison set up be sure to check to make sure the comparison is running correctly by checking the data of a cell compared to make sure.
Regards,
