How do I print only the text, (without the background), on a Power Point slide? I have several 100 Power Point files that have many text slides and do not want to waste ink on the slide backgrounds.

You can choose Design>Format Background and check the option for Hide background graphics.

I found a way, I highlight the text on the PowerPoint slide I wish to print, change the color, save it, and paste it in a Word document. When printed, there is a light bluish color (the size of the text box) behind the text. Works for me.

When I entered the Format Background list and clicked on the "Hide the background graphics", the Picture or Texture Fill stayed Lit (red filled). The slide I chose is a part of a large file. I printed the "Current Page" and it printed the text with the background color. Thanks
