If I upgrade to Microsoft 365 Personal subscription from Basic do I still need to pay my Outlook subscription as well as the increased Microsoft 365 subscription?

I currently pay for Microsoft 365 Basic (!£1.99/month) and Outlook (£14.99/year).

    Hello Graham Seal

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It seems like you have a short query about upgrading your subscription if you still need to pay for Outlook app. Let’s work together in finding the best answer to this issue.

The Microsoft 365 Personal subscription includes Outlook as part of its suite of applications, along with other popular Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. Therefore, you will only need to pay for the increased Microsoft 365 subscription, which will cover all the applications included in the Personal plan.

We look forward to your next response.

    Hi,

I'm not sure this answer really covers the question. I think the question was really "if I upgrade from MS Basic to MS 365 do I have to pay the full cost of 365, or just the difference between the cost of Basic and the cost of 365?"

That's my question anyway - my dad paid for a year of Basic but now wants to know how much he pays if he upgrades to 356 - please could you clarify?

    thanks
