Microsoft Forms keeps stopping - Sorry, something went wrong

I am setting up multiple forms (14 to be specific) and embedding them on a weebly site. I am also embedding the live data from specific cells in the results spreadsheet on the weebly site too. While I was creating the forms, once I got to the 8th or 9th one, the forms portal stopped working, with the message "Sorry, something went wrong". After about an hour, it worked again. I created about 2 more forms and it stopped again. I was able to login and access my forms in my work account but if I logged back into my personal account, then it would say not working. Again after an hour it was fine. I finally managed to get the 14 forms setup. The issue now is that as I fill in the forms on the weebly site, after a few goes at the form, then it crashes again and I have to wait about an hour again for it to work again. I do get this error message:

Session id: 406b9bc6-e4f2-4ef6-9234-9bc958fee7fa, Correlation id: 2aa96463-e13f-45d2-9e3b-4d6b4499f09e

Any explanations or solutions?

Hello Andrew R! I'm Ivan and I'd be happy to help you with your question,

The error message "Sorry, something went wrong" along with the session and correlation IDs indicates that there might be some underlying technical problem causing the disruptions.

Here are some potential explanations and solutions for the issue you are facing:

    1. Server Load: The "Sorry, something went wrong" message may appear when the Microsoft Forms server experiences high traffic or load. This could be due to many users accessing the service simultaneously. During peak usage times, the server may become temporarily overwhelmed, causing the service to stop responding. If this is the case, the issue should resolve itself once the server load decreases.
    2. Network Connectivity: Intermittent network connectivity issues can also lead to disruptions in accessing Microsoft Forms. Make sure you have a stable and reliable internet connection when accessing the forms and the Weebly site.
    3. Browser Compatibility: Check if you are using a compatible web browser to access Microsoft Forms and Weebly. Microsoft Forms works best with the latest versions of popular web browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari.
    4. Cache and Cookies: Clear your browser's cache and cookies, as these temporary files can sometimes cause conflicts and impact the functionality of web applications like Microsoft Forms.
    5. Try Different Devices: If the issue persists on a specific device, try accessing Microsoft Forms and the Weebly site on a different device to see if the problem is device-specific.
    6. Contact Microsoft Support: If the problem continues and none of the above solutions work, it might be best to reach out to Microsoft Support directly. They can investigate the specific error codes (session and correlation IDs) you provided and help identify any issues on their end: support.microsoft.com

I provided you a similar topic that could possibly help you, quick fixes and troubleshooting found here: (Microsoft Forms shows "Sorry, something went wrong") https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/troubleshoot/administration/microsoft-forms-shows-sorry-something-went-wrong or (Microsoft Forms not loading. "Sorry, something went wrong" error) https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-forms/microsoft-forms-not-loading-quot-sorry-something-went-wrong-quot/m-p/3253990

Please note that the above suggestions are general troubleshooting steps. Microsoft Forms is a cloud-based service, and occasional service interruptions may occur due to maintenance or other technical reasons. If the issue persists, reaching out to Microsoft Support will provide you with more tailored assistance.

I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to ask.

    Best regards, Ivan
