Saving Word Files to Google Drive

I have MS Word from office365 on my IPad. For work purposes/team collaboration I need to save my Word files in Google Drive. I see many Cloud storage options lik Dropbox but not Google Drive. Am I missing something?

    Google Drive is not engineered to support editing Office files while they are on that cloud service. You will eventually lose data or corrupt files. It's safe to use if you edit files on your local hard disk, then upload them to Google Drive to share.
