is there any way to add our own 3d models to powerpoint

We understand that you're unable to upload you own 3D models in PowerPoint.

So, you can actually add your own 3D models to PowerPoint using the steps below:

1. Click on the "Insert" tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
2. Click on the "3D Models" button in the "Illustrations" section.
3. Select "From a File" and browse to the location of your 3D model file.
4. Select the file and click "Insert."

Take note though that PowerPoint supports 3D models in the .fbx, .obj, .3mf, and .stl file formats. If your 3D model is not in one of these formats, you may need to convert it before inserting it into PowerPoint.

Glenn's reply does a good job of explaining how to insert 3D models and what types of 3D files PPT can accept.

If what you want is to include your own 3D models in the selection that PowerPoint offers when you just click the 3D models button (ie, the provided online models), then I'm afraid that's not possible.

If you click the down-arrow on the 3D button, you get the option of inserting a model from your own computer and if you click that, it takes you to C:\Users{username}\3D Objects. You can put your own models in that folder to make them easier to access.
