    Dear Aun Abbas,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Per your description, you want to link email in Excel worksheet or Word document, click it to open the email automatically.

    You may try following steps:

1.In Outlook, firstly save the email to your local drive (for example, Desktop) by select the email, click File > Save As.

2.Open Excel workbook, click Insert > Object. Click Create from File tab, click Browse, navigate to the saved email, select it and click Insert. check the box "Link to file" and click OK.

3.Then, you will see an email image inserted into your Excel workbook. Clicking it will pop up a window, click Open, then your email will open.

You can follow same steps above in Word document to inset email.

Below are screenshots of my test result, you may refer to it.

If my understanding of the scenario is not consistent with yours, feel free to point it out. I will continue helping you.

Hope you have a nice day!

    Sincerely,
