Default OneDrive PDF viewer app

Hello,

I´d like to ask, if there is any way to change default app in which you open PDF files stored on OneDrive. I have an Android tablet, on which I have OneDrive and acces files through it. I commonly draw notes in PDFs via S-pen. You can do that of course natively if you open pdf in OneDrive and use the tool, but honestly it is absolutely terrible. So I now have to open PDF in onedrive, select in upper right corner those 3 dots for extra options, select open in other app, which takes me to some other more usable PDF viewer of my choice. I do what I need to and then I have to select share PDF, save to onedrive and confirm location. It doesn´t feel very ergonomic and it is like 10 extra steps. If I could defaultly open PDF on OneDrive (once i tap on it) in some PDF viewer of my choice and then just hit save to edit the original file I openned, it would improve my experience by 1000% :-)

Is there any way to achieve this?

    Good day!!

    I understand your concern but I am sorry to convey that OneDrive application on the Mobiles is not associated with any Office files in the OneDrive to directly open the file in it’s default app and there is no direct setting in the OneDrive application to change this behavior.

    I agree with you having the ability to associate the direct related apps to the files opened in the OneDrive mobile app via settings will benefits the users and I suggest you to add your valuable idea as feedback in the OneDrive · Community (microsoft.com) is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.

    Apologies for not delivering the required output because of the feature limitation and hope you can understand.
