how to install a downloaded border into word?

I have the dowmloaded file. How do I apply the new border to a word document?

    A Custom Watermark is just an image anchored to the header, so it amounts to the same thing. If you are trying to create your own picture border, see http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/BorderArt.htm

    Thank you, Ms. Barnhill. I see that what I want to do is not all that simple. Before receiving your kind reply, I found two youtube videos which described an altogether different approach: load the border's jpg or other graphic file as a CUSTOM WATERMARK, and then tweak its size. Seems all the myriad google hits for borders in word fail to give instructions on how to actually apply the new border to one's document. A pity. Thanks for your support.

    Word's Tables and Borders dialog cannot import borders. You have to insert the border graphic in the header, set to Behind Text, and size it to fit the page.
