collate, print/staple three pages at a time in a mail-merge result document

I am trying to collate and print/staple every 3 pages in word. After mail merging it will look like it is going to. And just prints all the pages and staples at the end. I am unable to use a macro. The printer is able to print and staple documents.

I was able to try Doug's Add-in Tool. That worked great. But you have to pay for it after 20.

I just need to seperate each and save as themselves. Then I can print seperately if that is possible.

IMO, it is worth paying for, but it is not the only tool out there.

These are all the result of a great amount of work and skill. They save you an incredible amount of time. Even the free ones are worthy of a donation to the author.

Yea I didn't know if they would be a way to execute it to save to as their own pdf and then have them print separately that way.

    I can try off-site

It is unfortunate that you are unable to use macros because there are a number available to split up a merge result. Here are two.

Can you possibly take your result document to an off-site location and use macros to split the document up.

Setting up Word to control your printer depends very much on your printer driver and what its available settings are. The print and staple function is not something built into Word at all. You could contact the printer manufacturer to see if they have any suggestions on how to do this.

As a workaround, perform the merge, one record at a time, and print each.
