Regarding Method 2 5. Under "Manage Storage," click on the "Find and remove duplicate files" link.

I have a lot of photos on one drive but just found (when I was told I was running out of space) that many of my photos have multiple have multiple duplicates of it in the folder (which are taking up space).
I don't believe I did this unless my "back up" is in some way multiple back-ups of the same file.
How do I get back to normal?

I don't have the options in Method #2 you described. So what do I do then? I've attached a screenshot of what I see when I click on Manage Storage on the web.

I am having this same issue. There is no "find and move duplicate files" link. Can you tell us where this is?
Just like everyone else, (of course), there is no "remove duplicate files" link under the Manage files tab.
Go figure...
I have the same problem. It's IMPOSSIBLE to talk to anyone at Microsoft and trying to resolve a technical issue via there "CHAT" is insane!!!! I worked on this for 4 hours trying to resolve the problem as I also do not have a "remove duplicate files" and have thousands of videos that uploaded twice when I got a new computer!!!!! Next year, I'll find another way to store my photo's and video's. WORST customer service in the WORLD! (I have an OLD Ipod and APPLE just recently helped me move my music to my Iphone. Now that's SERVICE!!! BTW: We will not be getting any response. If you click on the advisor's profile, at the top left, you will see:

GOOD LUCK - and if any else sees this and can help me here's my problem. I can find "duplicated files" when One Drive shows me "Files using the most space" and yet, when I go into those same files in the videos file in the windows 11 PERSONAL One Drive Video file, those files are not duplicated. HELP!!!
