Hello community,

I'm seeking information about a claimed collaboration between Microsoft and Skill Nation and/ or Be10x.in, The latter Indian companies are offering a 5-year Office 365 subscription as part of the course package for up to 8 family members. As I couldn't find a direct email contact for Microsoft, can anyone provide insights or guidance on how to verify this collaboration's authenticity? This seems like important information to address. Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello Glenn,

I hope this message finds you all well. I am getting final reminders from Skill Nation to pay the remaining installment or lose my 1st installment as well and get eliminated from their list of subscribers to tutorials/ live classes and of course the bonuses of MS Office 365 for 5 years for myself and 8 of my family and friends, plus 2 years of ChatGPT 4.0 subscription for free. They have also assured assistance in getting certificate of Microsoft Certified Expert. The last date to pay the second installment is 31st October 11:59 PM IST. Could it be possible for you to kindly convey whether this entire arrangement being run by Skill Nation is all legal or illegal or maintainable or likely to be suspended or otherwise, so that I may decide about suitably saving my hard-earned money on stake, accordingly, please.

    Warm regards,

    DefoNJoy

Thanks for reaching out to our Microsoft Community Forum.

We understand that you're seeking information in connection to a collaboration by Microsoft with the companies, Skill Nation and Be10x.in

As a Microsoft customer support agent, I can confirm that Microsoft does not have any official collaboration with Skill Nation or Be10x.in that offers a 5-year Microsoft 365 subscription. However, it is always recommended to verify the authenticity of such claims before making any purchases or sharing personal information. With that in mind do you have links where you've heard or read of such offers?

Thanks for bringing this webinar to our attention, DefoNJoy.

This is quite concerning indeed. So, I'll bring this up to our internal support team for further investigation.

I might ask you for some additional information about this webinar but what you've provided me so far is enough for now.

However, I highly recommend that you report this a scam using the link below too. It'll help speed up the process of investigating this webinar immensely.

At any rate, expect an update from me soon.

    Sincerely,

    Glenn

    Hello, Glenn Rue,

Thank you for your prompt response.

I have attended two webinars through Instagram advertisements from Be10x.in and Jatanshah.in. They run websites by the names Skillnation.in, [https:// skillnation dot in/workshops/} Be100x.in, getautomatex.in, jatanshah.in. One can find their advertisements soliciting participation in very low-cost webinars of 3 hours with promise to impart basic to advanced master classes in Microsoft Applications Automation with ChatGPT and other AI tools. The faculties hosting these webinars claim to be IIT Kharagpur alumni, which acts as a confidence building measure. They introduce their offer during the webinar a recording which is NOT to be provided. They say they have disabled chatting for the audience so that nobody feels ashamed of asking any stupid question, which now I understand is to prevent any previous subscriber to ventilate any negative experience and spoil the show. Thousands of gullible job seekers are falling to their propaganda with subscription of Microsoft 365 (Rs.6199/month) for 5 years and ChatGPT 4.0 access (20$/ month) for 2 years significantly adding to the lure.

Though they did not provide any recording, I managed to record the webinar in parts with/ without voice in a shabby manner for my own reference later. Here are three screenshots for your perusal and use. Hope this helps.
