    Hello Fred F,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am a Microsoft user just like you, I hope you are doing well.

When you receive an unknown charge from Microsoft, you will need to investigate this charge before you contact Microsoft support.

Did you check your account billing history, if no, use link below to check your Microsoft account billing history:

    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

I will also recommend you check your inbox for a purchase confirmation email.

To review purchases you've made, log into the email account associated with your Microsoft account.

    1. Look for an email from Microsoft Store (stremail @microsoft.com).
    2. If you’ve received multiple emails from Microsoft Store (stremail @microsoft.com), check each one.
    3. If you can’t find the purchase confirmation email, check your spam or junk folders to make sure it wasn’t accidentally flagged as spam.
    4. If you have more than one Microsoft account, sign into each associated email inbox to check for a purchase confirmation email.

Charges from Microsoft for consumer purchases will appear on your billing statement with these descriptions:

    MICROSOFT*XBOX MICROSOFT*XBOX LIVE GOLD MICROSOFT*XBOX GAME PASS MICROSOFT*EA ACCESS MICROSOFT*STORE MICROSOFT*OFFICE MICROSOFT*OFFICE 365 MICROSOFT*ACCOUNT MICROSOFT*ONEDRIVE MICROSOFT*OUTLOOK MSbill.info bill.ms.net

If the entry on your billing statement isn’t in one of the above formats, it was not from Microsoft and may be an unauthorized charge. Contact your bank for more information.

If you are still unable to find charge, you can contact Microsoft support via live chat for further assistance.

Kindly go to Microsoft Contact Us website:

    http://support.office.com/home/chat

    1. Type "unknown charge" and click Get Help.
    2. Click Login and Contact Support at the bottom of the page.
    3. Log in with your Microsoft account.
    4. Under products and Services, select Microsoft 365 and Office Option.
    5. Under category, select Manage Subscription.
    6. Click "Chat with a support agent".
