How do I edit the formatting of the automatic "continued on" and "continued from" phrases in text boxes in Publisher for Office 365? For instance, I want to reduce the gap between the body text and the "continued" phrase, and change the font size for just those words. Is it possible to edit that formatting? How?

    Hello Brutus84

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It seems like you are having an issue about formatting a text using your Publisher app. Let's work together to find the best solution to this problem.

Yes, it is possible to edit the formatting of the automatic "continued on" and "continued from" phrases in text boxes in Publisher for Office 365. Here are the steps to do so:

    • Select the text box that contains the "continued on" or "continued from" phrase.
    • Click on the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
    • Click on the "Object" button in the "Text Box" group.
    • Select "Edit Text" from the drop-down menu.
    • Highlight the "continued on" or "continued from" phrase.
    • Click on the "Home" tab in the ribbon again.
    • Use the formatting options in the "Font" group to change the font size, color, and other formatting options for the selected text.
    • To reduce the gap between the body text and the "continued" phrase, you can adjust the spacing options in the "Paragraph" group on the "Home" tab.

Once you have made the desired changes, click outside of the text box to apply the formatting changes.

We look forward to your next response.

    Kind regards
