Dear Ambrose Chan1,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. It will be a pleasure working with you,
To install an existing OneDrive to File Explorer in Windows 11, you need to sign in to your OneDrive account and select the folders you want to sync. Here are the steps you can follow:
- Click the OneDrive icon in the taskbar. If you don’t see it, type OneDrive in the search box and open the app.
- Click Sign in and enter your email address and password for your OneDrive account. If you have more than one account, you can switch between them by clicking the account icon in the top right corner of the app.
- After signing in, you will see a window that shows the default OneDrive folder location and the amount of storage space available. You can click Change location if you want to choose a different folder or drive for your OneDrive files. Then click Next.
- On the next window, you can choose which folders you want to sync to your PC. You can either sync all files and folders or select specific ones by clicking Choose folders. Then click Next.
- You will see a message that says Your OneDrive is ready for you. Click Open my OneDrive folder to open File Explorer and view your OneDrive files.
- You can also access your OneDrive files from File Explorer by clicking the OneDrive dropdown under Home. You can also set OneDrive as the default startup location for File Explorer by clicking the ellipsis icon on the toolbar, selecting Options, and changing the option for Open File Explorer to to your OneDrive folder.
I hope this helps you install your existing OneDrive to File Explorer in Windows 11. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me.
