Saving PDFs on iPad

I have always saved PDFs on my iPads by clicking the share button, share using another app, and then saving the PDF. However, for the past 2 weeks, whenever I click the “share using other app” button, OneNote automatically tries to load a PDF and then the loading screen immediately goes away, and I am brought back to the page I was editing. So my question is why is this happening and how do I fix it? Or is there a new way to save PDFs on iPad?

Thank you. I actually just uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it worked perfectly afterwards.

    Hello

I’m Adeyemi and I’d be happy to help you with your question.

I understand that you're having trouble saving PDFs on your iPad using OneNote. This could be due to a few reasons:

    1. OneNote Sync Issues: OneNote might be having trouble syncing with your device. You can try logging out and logging back in to reset your credentials and avoid authentication problems.
    2. Software Updates: Make sure that both your iPad's operating system and the OneNote app are up-to-date. Sometimes, issues can be resolved by installing the latest updates.
    3. App Settings: Check if the option 'Enable Beta Features' is turned ON in your OneNote Preview settings. This has been known to resolve some issues with previewing files in OneNote
    4. File Storage: If you're trying to save a PDF to a file storage service like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, make sure that the service is properly linked to your OneNote app and that you're signed in.

    I hope this helps.
