We have 90 Business Basic or Business Standard licenses. We want to upgrade onedrive to 5TB for 1 user.

In Admin Centre Default storage limit cnange to 5TB does not help. How could we increase one user to 5TB, or what license to buy to get at least 5TB OneDrive for one user?

    Dear Sigitas S,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Since you have Business Basic or Business Standard licenses, I'd like to let you know that Business Basic or Business Standard only has 1 TB OneDrive storage.

To increase the OneDrive storage limit for a single user to 5TB, you can purchase an additional OneDrive for Business Plan 2 license for that user. This license provides 5TB of storage per user.

As Microsoft 365 Administrator, go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Billing > Purchase services > search and buy the OneDrive for business (Plan 2) license. Then assign the license to that user.

After that, you may follow steps in this article Change a specific user's OneDrive storage space - SharePoint in Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Learn

    I hope it helps!

Feel free to let me know if you have further concerns, I'll be glad to help you further.

Thanks for your time and understanding! We hope you have a nice day, stay safe and healthy always.

    Sincerely,

    Tina | Microsoft Community Moderator
