Hi, At school we use Microsoft Office 365 Education.I would like to know the simplest way for teachers to add a real-time/live digital clock to every slide of each lesson/slide show created using PowerPoint please?Students often do not wear a watch, are not allowed to use a cell/mobile phone in the classroom, and we cannot afford to buy a digital wall clock for every classroom. The problem with Cliff's suggestion is that the time display in PowerPoint isn't live: it only updates when you open the file, then it's stuck on that time. If Cliff had tested the solution first, that would have been clear.

Does your educational license include desktop versions of Office, or is it online only?

In desktop versions, you can create VBA macros that update the time. Here's an example from Stack Overflow, please scroll down the Answer for a working solution.

If you're using the online-only version, choose Home>Add-ins>More Add-ins and search for clock. There are several such add-ins, see which one may serve your purposes.

    Dear Better,

The simplest way is to use Insert>Date and Time to add a footer to show real-time clock on each slide.

Thanks for your effort and time.

    Sincerely
