A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Hello Linda S,
I'm Shalom and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.
You can use the following steps to close multiple charts at once:
- Go to the View Tab: In Excel, go to the "View" tab on the Ribbon.
- Switch to the "Windows" Group: Look for the "Windows" group within the "View" tab.
- Arrange All: Click on "Arrange All." This will give you options to arrange your open windows.
- Choose "Vertical" or "Horizontal": Select either "Vertical" or "Horizontal," depending on your preference.
- Close Charts: You should now see all your open charts arranged side by side. Close them by clicking on the "X" in the top right corner of each chart window.
If you want to delete the chart sheets within the workbook:
- Go to the Sheet Navigation: At the bottom of the Excel window, you'll see sheet tabs. Locate the sheet tabs for your chart sheets.
- Right-Click on Sheet Tab: Right-click on the sheet tab of the chart you want to delete.
- Select "Delete": From the context menu, select "Delete."
- Repeat for Each Chart Sheet: Repeat this process for each chart sheet you want to delete.
If you have too many chart sheets to delete manually, you might consider using a VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) macro to automate the process.
Best Regards, Shalom
