Microsoft 365 asking me to login each time I open the browser

I have Microsoft 365 for Enterprise and I primarily use the web browser for Teams, OneDrive, etc. For the past couple of days, I have to sign in again each time I open the browser even though I have "remember me" checked on Okta and "Don't ask for 365 days" checked when going through the process of approving the signin on the Microsoft Authenticator app.

I am having the same issue on both Chrome and Edge. Other sites are not asking me to login each time. I am not being prompted to login when I use the Office Apps such as Outlook or Excel.

    Hello,

    1. I have cleared cache/cookies.
    2. I can see that microsoft.com, office.com, live.com, sharepoint.com, microsoftonline.com, etc. all have saved cookies.
    3. My IT department is not able to help.

The issue did start after I had to clear cache/cookies in Chrome due to another issue. Today I was able to reproduce the issue in Edge, but that is not a browser that I typically use.

    Thank you.

    Hello S15IS,

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Based on your description I understand every time you log in to Teams or Onedrive on the web you are prompted to sign in. This could be caused by a few different things, but here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies. This can often resolve issues with login prompts.
    2. Check your browser settings to make sure that cookies are enabled for Microsoft 365.
    3. Check with your IT department to see if there are any known issues with Microsoft 365 login prompts.

We look forward to hearing from you; Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution. I appreciate your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Hello S15IS,

Thank you for your detailed reply. Kindly ask your admin to open a service request in the Microsoft 365 admin center Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn. The support team over there has higher permission than us, they can remotely help you and collect logs. They can also involve more resources to investigate the issue from the back end. This would be the most efficient way to handle this case for you.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Please do not hesitate to post your queries in Microsoft Community and we will always do our best to assist you!

    Sincerely,

    Simbarashe | Microsoft Community Moderator
