If you want to know how long it takes for you to deliver a presentation, then Prince R's suggestion will probably help.

If you want to know how long it took you just to look at/read through a presentation, then no, or at least not directly. You could open the presentation, look at the advanced properties, note the editing time value, then save the presentation when you're done reading it, re-open it and check editing time again. It'd be WAY simpler to use a stopwatch (the one on your smartphone if you have one) though.

If you want to know whether someone ELSE can tell how long it took you to read through a PowerPoint file, see above, or there may be other ways, depending on how they serve up the PPT file.

    Hello me_282,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Yes, it is possible to measure the time it takes to read a PowerPoint presentation. One way to do this is to use the Rehearse Timings feature in PowerPoint. Here are the steps to follow:

    1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
    2. Click on the Slide Show tab in the ribbon.
    3. Click on Rehearse Timings.
    4. The presentation will start and you can advance through the slides at your own pace.
    5. As you advance through the slides, PowerPoint will keep track of the time it takes to read each slide and the total time for the presentation.
    6. Once you have gone through all the slides, PowerPoint will display the total time for the presentation.

Another way to measure the total run time of a PowerPoint presentation is to use a third-party add-in like BrightSlide. This add-in adds the required information to the Timing group of the Transitions tab and allows you to see the total run time of your presentation 1.

Hoping this will help. Let me know if you have further concerns.
