If you are facing issues with OneDrive not opening when you double-click the icon on your Mac, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Reset OneDrive Settings: If the issue persists, you can try resetting OneDrive settings. This will remove any custom settings you've made, but it may resolve any underlying issues.

    a) Open the Finder and navigate to your Applications folder. b) Right-click on the OneDrive application and select Show Package Contents. c) Open the Contents > Resources folder. d) Double-click the ResetOneDriveApp file. e) Restart your MacBook Pro and launch OneDrive again

    1. Delete and Reinstall OneDrive: If force-quitting doesn't work, you can try deleting and reinstalling OneDrive. a) Open the Finder and navigate to your Applications folder. b) Drag and drop the OneDrive application to the Trash. c) Empty the Trash. d) Download the latest version of OneDrive from the Microsoft website and install it.

    Hi JerryBucholz,

Thank you for reaching out to this forum. I'm Utkarsh and as a fellow Microsoft user, I'm here and ready to help you today.

I am a user like you, this is a user forum and not Microsoft directly.

To connect OneDrive to your MacBook Pro, you can follow these steps:

    1. Download the OneDrive app for Mac from the Apple App Store or the OneDrive download page.
    2. After installing the app, you'll see a OneDrive icon in the Applications folder on your Mac. Double-click to open the app.
    3. Enter your work or school account and select "Sign in" to set up your account.
    4. At the final setup screen, click the button to Open OneDrive Folder. If you've already been using OneDrive on a Windows computer or other device, your synced folders and files will start appearing in the OneDrive folder on your Mac. If not, then the folder will contain a few default folders and files.

    I am NOT a Microsoft Agent/Employee.

I hope this is helpful! Best Regards, Utkarsh

When I double click on the Onedrive icon, in applications, nothing happens. I have tried to uninstall it and it won’t react. This was part of the download of Microsoft 365 (Office). Does that make a difference? Frustrating!

    Thank you
