Webhosting solution for Office 365 Business and Domain

Hello, since two days I'm a new business customer with my company on Office 365 Business. I just finished the basic setup with a company domain bought through the Office 365 admin console. Email on the new domain works fine. Now I would like to have some basic webpage hosted on this domain as well. I understand that Microsoft does not offer such website hosting. How should I best approach this? Any recommended partners or website providers? Anything to consider as the domain already has been purchased through MS via Office 365 Business?

Best, Daniel

As per your mentioned description about "Webhosting solution for Office 365 Business and Domain". Kindly note that Microsoft 365 does not include a public website for your business. To set one up, consider using a web hosting company like GoDaddy, Wix, or WordPress.

    Dear danielmfinke,

    Hope you are doing well!

Many thanks for the prompt response. Yes, you can keep the domain registration with Microsoft inside Office 365 and still host your website with another company.

Update: I just talked to two web hosting provider companies here in Germany. Both confirmed that they can host webspace on an external domain. There is no need to move the domain over to them. I can keep the domain registration with MS (and Exchange, Email, Teams, etc. hosting) and have them run the webpage hosting.

Microsoft does not provide web hosting. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/setup/domains-faq?view=o365-worldwide#how-can-i-create-a-website-for-my-business for more details. You may add your Microsoft (or third-party) domains to third-party web hosting services, the process may be different depending on who you choose.

Thanh you for your answer. The video on the website you referred to assumes the domain registered with a non Microsoft provider (in the video GoDaddy). In my case the domain is registered through Office 365 Business with Microsoft. Does that mean I have to move the domain registration from Microsoft to another company for having them hosting the webspace? Or can I keep domain registration with Microsoft inside Office 365?
