It seems that the upload option has been brought under '+ Add new' button.

After clicking on + Add new above the Home in the Navigation Pane, a menu appears where you can click on Upload Files or Upload Folders. Upload Files opens a box where you can select files to upload.

I have the same problem with OneDrive for Business.

Also, the OneDrive toolbar no longer appears when viewing MyFiles unless you have a file or folder selected. Previously, the Upload button was visible on the toolbar when no files or folders were selected.

With the interface change, does that mean the only way to upload files into OneDrive is through drag and drop from the File Explorer?

    Dear Sophia,

I have just had the same problem on 30 August. 2028. The issue has occurred in "My Files". The issue has occured in all folders, shared or private. What has Microsoft done? This has never occurred before.

Looking forward to a rapid fix. Morgana Harris
