    Hello TAHER,

My name is Oluwatosin, and I’ll be more than happy to help you with your query." This is a user-to-user community forum. We do not have access to your account.

m sorry to hear that your shortcuts in Word are not working

Check if the keyboard shortcuts are working or not elsewhere.

If working, try reset the keyboard shortcuts by going to File > Options > Customize Ribbon > Keyboard Shortcuts: Customize > Reset All

Check by running Word in Safe mode and disable add-ins.

To start Word in safe mode, open Run (Windows+R) and then type and enter winword /safe.

If you are able to use keyboard shortcut keys in Safe mode, the problem is most probably with an installed add-in

Go to the File menu and click on Options. Select the Add-ins tab and press the Go button present beside the Manage COM Add-ins option. Now, uncheck the installed add-ins to disable them and then click on the OK button.

However, if the issue persists, repair the Office application.

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Apps -Apps & features tab, then scroll down to find Microsoft Office

    Select Advanced - Repair

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

    Best regards, Oluwatosin.

As Charles said, which type of shortcuts are you referring to? Access keys (or accelerators) start with the Alt key, which should be pressed and released; see the thread at https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/office-alti-and-alto-key-shortcuts-dont-work/aeab949e-6917-454f-89cd-0f31088743ee?LastReply=true#LastReply. Custom shortcuts assume that you click and hold multiple keys together.
