I created a document library in SharePoint. People at my organization save things to OneDrive. I would like the files they save to OneDrive to auto-populate in SharePoint. What settings should I enable to make this happen?

    Dear KW_762,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

There is no built-in way to automatically populate a SharePoint document library with files from OneDrive. However, there are workarounds that you can use.

You can use Microsoft Power Automate to create a flow that automatically copies files from OneDrive to SharePoint. To do this, you will need to create a trigger that runs when a new file is added to a specific OneDrive folder. The action will then be to copy the file to a specific SharePoint document library.

You can use this power automate template to crate follow between OneDrive and SharePoint

    1. Select When a new file is added (OneDrive) as the trigger.
    2. Select the OneDrive folder that you want to monitor.
    3. Click New step.
    4. Select Copy file (OneDrive) as the action.
    5. Select the SharePoint document library that you want to copy the files to.
    6. Click Create.
