Erroneous grammar suggestions - just crazy.

Why is Microsoft getting worse every new update? And why does Microsoft corrupt older version updates?

I started using Office since it first came out. Especially word and Excel. I have never had these problems in the past. And even if I did, there were so few of them. So, lately, meaning the past year, Microsoft Word suggestions have been very annoying. It seems that someone illiterate is programming the updates. Someone who has no knowledge of the English Language, not saying I am perfect but better than the suggestions. It feels that back in the 90's, Software Engineers and Developers were amazing and outstanding in their work and updates. Nowadays, it's the opposite. Why am I saying this?

Example:

  1. My dog was running down the street.

Word has "My" underlined and suggests me to change it to "Me"... so for word the correct way is:

Me dog was running down the street. REALLY???? And not only here, but in many other words I use it is completely unreliable. And when I click ignore once it comes back the minute I press enter to go to the next line.

Another annoying example is:

  1. Your dog is barking all the time.

Here word suggests me to change "Your" to "You're"... again, REALLY???

And there is no way for me to make word ignore this "FOREVER" but only once, which means the minute you open this document or press enter to go to the next line, Office Word is trying to make you illiterate.

Is there a way to make this suggestion disappear for good and not "ignore once" only? I added these words to the exceptions and it still tries to incorrect me because I know it's "My dog" and not "Me dog".

Note, I modified your question title and moved your original title into the body.

Why is Microsoft getting worse every new update? And why does Microsoft corrupt older version updates?

It is important that the title draw attention to the problem you are having so that people who have knowledge about that subject will read the question and be able to help you. For more detail on how to get the best answers here, see:

If you want to rant, go ahead. You are writing, though, to your fellow users. To be heard by Microsoft, use their feedback mechanisms.

So, I have been busy and also had a hard time finding my post. Navigation is really frustrating.

Here is an example of what I am saying. There is not a single editor or newspaper that would write the news saying "is you doing this?" unless it was quoted from someone literate. Is there a way to stop Word from suggesting these grammatically wrong suggestions? In normal life I ask how are you and not how is you...it doesn't make sense at all

I am using Microsoft Office Professional 2016

I don't accept your premise. I often find changes made to Word annoying, but this is not one of them.

Using English US proofing neither of your examples is triggering any warning or objection here.

    Office 2021 version 2309

Which version of Word are you using?

    Desktop application?

    How are you running spell-check?

Can you provide a link to a sample document on OneDrive or DropBox that has the problem?

Why a sample file is important for troubleshooting - - - - - - - and how to do it.

What happens if you start Word in safe mode?

Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC - Microsoft Office

(This is a diagnostic step, not a way to regularly use Word.)

You may have missed my first post where I asked a few questions...

    Is this in Windows?

    Which update of Office?

File > Account > About Word

If you click on the word marked as an error, what is the proofing language set for that word?

Please note that my version of Word is not showing grammar errors for any of the examples you have given. This may have to do with your grammar settings.

A sample document with the problem would help (not a screenshot, a document).

Why a sample file is important for troubleshooting - - - - - - - and how to do it.
