A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Hello Mickael R,
I hope you're doing well. As an Independent Advisor and Microsoft user, I understand you're trying to set up Microsoft Word to export your document as a PDF without showing the markups by default. Here are a few methods you can try:
- Use the regular Print function in Word. After hitting Ctrl-P, select “Adobe PDF” as the printer. Under Settings, uncheck “Print Markup” to exclude markup from the resultant PDF.
- Choose File > Export…, select “PDF” from the File Format popup, and select the “Without Notes” option.
- Use the “Save as” function in Word, choose “PDF” in “Save as Type”, and select “Document” (not “Document showing markup”) in “Publish what”.
- Alternatively, you can use an online tool to convert Word to PDF for free.
Unfortunately, Microsoft Office cannot save PDFs as Documents without showing markup by default. However, you can submit your feedback to Microsoft regarding this feature.
Meanwhile, if you still need further help or I misunderstood your question, to better help you, please kindly correct me and share more details with me so that I can do further research. Thanks.
Thank you in advance for your understanding! Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I wish you all the best!
Kind regards, Segunfunmi.
