Gizem E, sorry your Microsoft account was blocked.

According to Microsoft, your account might be temporarily blocked as a result of unusual sign-in activity. This is done to protect you from fraud or abuse.

You can try unblocking from another device, using an alternative verification method.

    1. To unblock your account, you'll need to reset your password. Click link: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2016113
    2. Enter the email address of the blocked account, then enter the characters you see on your screen and select Next.
    3. Enter the code generated by your authenticator app or select Use a different verification option to get a text message.
    4. After you enter the security code, you'll need to change your password to complete the unblocking process.

    Notes:

You don't need a smartphone to receive a security code.

Text messages may come from either "MSFT", a short number, or a mobile number. If you have requested a security code, you can trust the message that arrives.

If you don't have an alternate phone number or email address or you can't get to it, select I didn’t get a code when you’re prompted for a code at sign-in or I don’t have access to these when you’re resetting your password and then follow the instructions.

If you still can't unblock your account by entering the security code or changing your password, go to 'When you can't sign in to your Microsoft account' using link: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=842227

Have you tried unblocking using an alternative verification method as stated above? If you have and you are unable to for any reason, the account recovery process is the last resort when other options have been exhausted. It requires you to prove ownership by answering a few questions that only the account owner can answer.

I recommend you try submitting Recovery Form using link attached: https://account.live.com/acsr

After you submit the form, you will receive the results of your recovery request at the working email address you provided at the beginning of the form within 24 hours.

Your next steps depend on whether we could verify your account:

If it is "We could not verify your account", you will need to keep trying as many times as you want, up to two times per day.

If it is "We verified your account", Microsoft will use the same working email to send you instructions for how to sign back into your account.

    Helpful tips

    1. Answer as many questions as possible. If you’re not sure, guessing is ok — wrong answers don’t count against you. When you get to a question that lets you “add more," fill in as much information as you are able.
    2. Use the information you created when you created your account or when it was last updated.
    3. You can submit Account Recovery Form up to two times per day from a computer that you use regularly.
    4. You will be asked to list the email addresses you have used recently and the subject lines of emails you have recently received. Ask family, friends, or business contacts for help in verifying their email addresses and for the subject lines of the last three emails they sent you.
    5. Make sure you're using the correct domain for your account, such as hotmail.com, live.com or xbox360.com. Remember that your email address may be country specific. For example, if you created your account in Germany, your domain would probably be "hotmail.de" rather than "hotmail.com".
