    Hello again,

Can you do something for me?

Since you did not specify if this happens for all files, or some particular files and since you can access the website, please, when you are in the Office.com site, can you create a new file and try to see if you can create a new file there and also open that file.

    I await your reply.

    Best Regards Fuad

Hi, thank you for your response.

I am trying to open these files from the website and the tab does not load. It used to work like 2 weeks ago.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for coming to the forum. My name is Fuad.

It is worth noting that this is a user community, and we are all users here, much like yourself. While we strive to assist and share insights, we are not Microsoft directly.

Are you trying to open this Excel file from the Chromebook device hard drive ?

Because Chromebook does not support the installation of Microsoft Office application, so you need to have these files stored in the cloud and access them from the web based Office application.

Can you let me know if you are accessing these files from Office.com, or you are trying to access these files from the desktop hard drive.

    Best Regards Fuad
