Hi Thomas Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. I am happy to help.

Migrating your Microsoft 365 Office subscription from GoDaddy to a Microsoft 365 F3 subscription directly with Microsoft is straightforward, and you won't lose any existing data if you follow the steps correctly. Here's how to do it:

    1. Purchase a Microsoft 365 F3 subscription: Go to the Microsoft 365 website and choose the "Microsoft 365 F3" subscription. Follow the on-screen instructions to purchase the subscription and create a Microsoft account (if you don't already have one).
    2. Export your GoDaddy mailbox data: Open Outlook and sign in to your GoDaddy account. Go to "File" > "Open & Export" > "Import/Export". Select "Export to a file" and choose "Outlook Data File (.pst)". Choose the folders you want to export and click "Next". Select a location to save the .pst file and click "Finish".
    3. Create mailboxes on the new Microsoft 365 subscription: Sign in to your Microsoft 365 account and access the admin center. Go to "Users" > "Active users". Add new users for yourself and any other users who need access to the migrated emails.
    4. Import your exported data to the new Microsoft 365 account: Open Outlook and sign in to your new Microsoft 365 account. Go to "File" > "Open & Export" > "Import/Export". Select "Import from another program or file" and choose "Outlook Data File (.pst)". Browse to the location where you saved the .pst file and select it. Choose the folders you want to import and click "Next". Select the destination folder within your new mailbox and click "Finish".
    5. Configure email settings: Update your email settings in your applications and devices to point to the new Microsoft 365 server settings. You can find these settings in the admin center under "Domains" > "Manage DNS".
    6. Cancel your GoDaddy subscription: Once you've confirmed that all your data has been migrated and you're using the new Microsoft 365 subscription, cancel your GoDaddy subscription to avoid unnecessary charges.

Additional tips: Ensure you have enough storage space on your computer to store the exported .pst file. Make sure you have a stable internet connection throughout the migration process. It might take some time for the migrated emails to be fully synced to your new mailbox.

    Kind regards Best regards -Adedayo
