Recover deleted notes on my iPad

I have accidentally deleted a note from my onenote on iPad. I tried to restore deleted notes on my computer but no deleted notes were found and so as my other notes. I am not sure if it was because I did not sync my docs or due to limited access to computer version of onenote with my business account from my organization. Are there any ways to recover deleted notes on my iPad? Thanks so much!

    Hi Janey,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

According to your description, you can't find the deleted notes in the desktop version of OneNote. Typically, this means that you haven't synced your changes from OneNote for iPad to the server before. To reconfirm it, please go to OneNote for Web (www.onenote.com), open the notebook in the browser, and check if you can see the deleted notes.

Also, generally, once you delete a section or a page, you can click the "Undo" button to undo the deletion operation in OneNote for iPad. If you haven't quit OneNote for iPad yet, please try undoing your changes.

If the above suggestions don't help, I am afraid that your notes have been lost. There is no way to recover these deleted notes.

Sorry for what you encountered. Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator

    Thanks for your reply.

I was afraid that I did not sync changes from OneNote for iPad to the server since I could not find any deleted notes. Also, I did not press the 'undo' button on iPad yet I have tried using the 'command + z' key for undoing the action right after I deleted the note, but it was in vain.
