Microsoft Office 2019 not updating

Using Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019. Office seems to be working ok. Can access everything except Updates.

Click on updates/update now, but nothing.

Program files only shows Microsoft 365-en-us, installation date 20/1/24, version 120.0.2210.144, but nothing in size, so I cannot do any update repair.

Seems file info is missing?

Hi KennethStarick,

1. According to this link, Microsoft Office 2019 is a perpetual license (non-subscription) that will get security updates until the support end date but no feature updates -->

    Hi Amit.

Just checked Office 2019, and there was a message from Microsoft of a problem at their end.

Clicked on update, and this time it worked ok.

    All well now it seems.

    Thanks again for your response.

    Much appreciated.

    Hi Amit.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I am still confused.

Does this mean Office 2019 emails and spreadsheets will work till expiry date 2025, when I will then need to either go to Microsoft 365 or take a new one off sub to Office 2021 or similar?

Will files and data then be transferred?

Up until now, when I clicked on file/Microsoft account/update, system would run check and tell if update needed or all up to date.
