How to delete content from Microsoft Learn (Q&A) post?

I think Dave already removed the post in question from the site - as for the tagging feature - I am discussing that with the team based on what I have seen in some other threads. As necessary, a bug will get filed to look into it further.

It is strange but when I refreshed the browser again, data appears again.

@Anonymous I refreshed now, and it disappeared again. So strange.. Maybe it might have been cache issue. I am not sure because when it appeared again, I refreshed few times and it still showed up.

Is there anyway to verify whether data is deleted on the backend by chance?

Likely is a server farm sync issue. Give it some time and it should be gone on all of them.

Probably so. The forums are still pretty rocky and unstable with the recent upgrade.

When you say you have taken care of it, does that mean you have added the need for user Delete to be reinstated to the developers to-do-list, or something else?

I also ran into the need to delete a post but was unable to and it did not merit asking a moderator to do it. I need to delete this reply too but can't!

Beats me why that functionality has been removed from the very people that need it most!

I think this is on the list for the dev team. What I meant be taking care of it was I simply deleted the content for the user.

@Anonymous Sorry. I tried clearing the browser cache but still shows up. It shows up time to time (not all the time). So, I am still thinking it still might be something like server farm syc issue, but it had been at least two days since it was deleted.

I just tried an in-private and from that session I can see it is stuck in edit mode with no way out. I've reached out to forums admins for assistance. I'll let you know the result via this post.

The EDIT link brings up your own personal workspace. No one else sees this. I can post a link and screenshots of what is actually in forum backend if you wanted. In short do not use the EDIT link to view what's on site.

I am trying to be very careful data that is available openly in the internet. If you can please help deleting the sensitive data, that would be very appreciated.

Update: It appears that it has been changed. Even I log in, I do not see the page anymore. I guess I am good for now. I will check tomorrow again and let you know if I see the data again.

So far, I do not see all major contents on the original post (as of now), so I am ok, but the status of this particular URL has been changed a lot in last 24 hours. Last night, I still saw the content that had sensitive data. I will keep monitoring tomorrow.
