A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Hello Ogechi J,
I'm Shalom and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.
If you're unable to find the Page Setup dialog launcher in Microsoft Word and need to change the orientation of a single page, you can follow these steps:
- Select the Page: Click at the beginning of the page that you want to change the orientation for. If it's just one page, you can place your cursor at the beginning of the text on that page.
- Insert Section Break:
- Go to the "Layout" or "Page Layout" tab on the ribbon (the exact wording might vary depending on your version of Word).
- Look for the "Breaks" option. Click on it.
- Choose "Next Page" under the "Section Breaks" category.
- Navigate to the Section:
- After inserting the section break, you may notice that your document now has multiple sections.
- Click at the beginning of the section you want to change (the one where you want a different orientation).
- Change Page Orientation:
- Go to the "Layout" or "Page Layout" tab again.
- Look for the "Orientation" option (it usually has icons for portrait and landscape orientation).
- Click on either "Portrait" or "Landscape" depending on your needs.
This way, you've created different sections in your document, and you can change the page orientation for each section independently. The rest of your document will remain unaffected.
Remember that the steps might vary slightly depending on your version of Microsoft Word, but the basic process remains the same.
Best Regards, Shalom
