How do I get the recovery codes for my account?

In the upper-right corner, I see "RK" in a circle. When I click on it, I see the image below. There's "View Account", but not the "My Microsoft Account" option that you say I ought to see. When I click "View Account", there's a "Security info" selection to the left, but when I click it there's nothing about recovery codes.

Hi Richard, you can get and should get a Recovery Code>Microsoft Account (top Right hand side of the Forum> Click on your Avatar/Name>My Microsoft Account>Security>Advanced Security Options>Bottom of page:

When I log into account.microsoft.com, there's a "Security Info" item in the left-hand menu. I don't know why you see "Security" and you see "Security Info." There must be some difference between your account and mine. When I click Security Info, which is the only choice remotely resembling "Security", there's no "Advanced Security Options" choice presented to me.

Rick try this, to download recovery codes for your Microsoft account using the new UI, please follow these steps:

1. Go to account.microsoft.com and sign in to your account.
2. Click on "Security" from the left-hand menu.
3. Under "Security," click on "Additional security options."
4. Scroll down to "Recovery code" and click on "Set up."
5. Follow the prompts to download your recovery codes.

When I click on Security Info, I see the page below. I don't see anything that looks like it would generate recovery codes. I've clicked around, hoping to see some sub-menu that would do it, but I can't find anything.
