    Hi Ben

Trial versions don't come with expensive premium features that Microsoft charges extra for.

Things are changing fast with CoPilot, so what I write today could change tomorrow.

You can use CoPilot in Bing for free:

    https://copilot.bing.com/

Don't scoff at that suggestion. The Bing CoPilot provides lots of the same functionality that the in-app versions have, including the ability to write Visual Basic for Applications macros. You can ask it to provide an outline for a PowerPoint presentation and lots and lots more.

As for image creation, check this out: https://www.howtogeek.com/880470/how-to-generate-unlimited-dall-e-ai-images-for-free-with-bing/

For details about CoPilot in Microsoft Office, see this link:

Information provided is subject to change without notice. In fact, it almost certainly will change over time.

A little more information - If you use Copilot in Excel it will say it's in "preview" mode even though you are using the licensed version. This is normal. Microsoft wants users to know that features and functionality is subject to change frequently with regard to Copilot.

Tin's reply is correct, but one thing Microsoft tends to omit from ALL Office Copilot documentation is that in order to use it, you need ... well, here, I'll quote them:

"Microsoft 365 Copilot users require a license for Microsoft 365 E3 or Microsoft 365 E5, as well as a license for Microsoft 365 Copilot."

    From: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-copilot/microsoft-365-copilot-requirements

Those are enterprise licenses. And they don't mention that adding Copilot will cost another US$30 per month, per user.

Despite all the hoopla, it doesn't look like Office 365 Copilot is for the everyday user.

As I wrote, you must first have an ENTERPRISE license in order to buy the additional license to use CoPilot in Office. US$108,000 minimum for the CoPilot license in addition to the 300 enterprise licenses minimum requirement.

They're not going to give that away with a free license, Mac or Windows, I'm afraid.
